Temple Emanuel offers a variety of inspiring Shabbat service experiences to meet the needs of our congregants and guests, from the very young to the young at heart. We warmly encourage you to participate fully in worship with us. We care deeply about the spiritual well being of everyone in our community and strive to offer prayer experiences that will guide and sustain you in both communal and personal prayer.
Kabbalat Shabbat Services - Friday evenings at 7:30 PM (Weekly)
Led by Rabbi Matthew Berger, Cantorial Soloist Sharon Brown Goldstein and Accompanist Lucia Clemente Falco, this service features folk-inspired music and a short yet relevant D'var Torah (commentary on the weekly Torah portion or contemporary topic).
Kabbalat Shabbat services will begin at 6:15 PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

T'filah Band Services - Friday evenings at 6:00 PM (Monthly)
Once a month, Temple Emanuel's resident prayer ensemble, 'The Fringes' , help redefine the traditional Kabbalat Shabbat service with modern musical interpretations of traditional prayers. "The Fringes" are led by Ellen and Peter Allard and Rabbi Matthew Berger. The ensemble also features Joey Demares, Phil Katz and John Webster.
T'filah Band Services will begin at 6:15 PM.

Shabbat Torah Study - Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM (Weekly)
All are welcome to join Rabbi Berger and the Torah Study regulars is on Saturday mornings at 9:00 AM. No prior experience necessary!
Tot Shabbat Services - Saturday mornings at 9:15 AM (Monthly)
For children from birth to age 5, we offer Tot Shabbat services with Rabbi Berger followed by Yad B'Yad (Hand in Hand) programming with Temple Emanuel Early Childhood Center (TEECC) Director, Phyllis Spool, usually on the first Saturday of the month.
Shabbat Morning Minyan - Saturday mornings at 10:30 AM (Weekly)
This traditional Shabbat morning service is followed by a traditional Kiddush/Oneg. On certain weeks our community celebrates with religious school students and their families when they become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Temple Emanuel Religious School Family Service - Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM (Weekly)
The Temple Emanuel Religious School (TERS) leads a weekly Family Service, Saturday mornings at 11:00 AM (when TERS is in session) for school-aged children and their families. Once a month there is a combined worship service with the congregation.
Daily Prayer Minyan - Monday-Thursday evenings at 5:45 PM, Sunday morning at 9:30 AM
Congregants and guests are invited to participate in this daily prayer minyan (service) in the Rose Chapel. Whether you are coming to pray and sing with the community or reciting the kaddish prayer for a loved one, all are welcome.
