Breakfast-Lectures

“Israeli-Arab Peace Process Post-Gaza”

November marks the beginning of a series of breakfast-lectures jointly sponsored by Kollel and the Temple Brotherhood. There will be four lectures concerning the possibility of peace after the Gaza pullout. The first two breakfasts will be:

 

Dec 11th “How Do We as American Jews Support the Peace Process?”

10 a.m.  Diane Balser, CEO of Brit Tzedek v’Shalom

the Jewish Alliance for Justice & Peace

The breakfast-lectures promise to be challenging and insightful. Please come, listen, and participate. There will be opportunities for questions and answers. Please RSVP for the breakfast only to Howard Hammond by November 5th at 508-829-2054.

Rabbi Dennis Ross will lead a series of classes, entitled “ As the Good Books Say: Jewish Law and Modern Times .” These will explore Jewish questions and the Responsa for them, as the people of Israel continue to grow and evolve – questions from ancient times through modern times.

Also, there will be classes in Beginning Hebrew given by Principal Judy Shriber, and in Intermediate Hebrew given by Rabbi Ross. The cost of the Hebrew classes is $50.

Times for classes are:

Tuesday nights, Nov. 1, 8, 15, 29
Dec. 6, 13, and 20

Hebrew Classes 6:30 pm Tuesday Nights

As the Good Books Say 7:30 pm Tuesday Nights
